FOUNDATION DAY CELEBRATIONS

INCOIS was set up on 3rd February in the year 1999 and since then the institute is providing ocean information and advisory services for the benefit of the Society. INCOIS is completing 13 years of long service to the Nation and celebrating its 13th Foundation Day on 3rd February 2012.

Honorable Vice Chancellor of the University of Hyderabad,
Prof. Ramakrishna Ramaswamy has kindly agreed to grace the occasion and deliver the foundation day lecture.

As a part of our "Open Day" programme on this day, school children and visitors are invited / encouraged to visit INCOIS labs during 10 AM to 3 PM. Keeping in view of the logistics limitations, prior appointment and confirmation are required. Interested schools and students can confirm their visit and fix the timings by mailing to archana.s@incois.gov.in.
