Datasets of various types have been produced at national, regional and global levels. Efforts have also been made at city level. However, currently value-add services and operational applications of geospatial data cyber-infrastructure are still at exploration stage for real time services. The geospatial data cyber-infrastructure has also immense potential for use in disaster management. The workshop aims at bringing together international state-of-the-art research and future trends in the field of geospatial spatial data cyber-infrastructure and real-time services with special emphasis on disaster management. The workshop is also meant to be an interdisciplinary forum for leading researchers to present the latest developments and applications, to discuss cutting edge technology, to exchange research ideas and to promote international collaboration in the related areas.

 Call for Papers:Abstracts of original research paper(s) covering one or more of the above topics are invited for presentation (either oral or poster) in the workshop. Abstracts not exceeding 1000 words to be submitted electronically to the Workshop Secretariat (isprs@incois.gov.in), by October 30, 2009. The Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee for selection and author(s) will be intimated about the acceptance and presentation either in oral or in interactive session by October 30, 2009.
The deadline for submission of full paper based on the accepted abstract is October 30, 2009. The full length papers should be prepared according to the ISPRS guidelines for preparing manuscripts (http://www.isprs.org/documents/orangebook/app5.aspx) and should not exceed 6 pages in length.
The abstract hardcopy and proceedings CD-ROM will be made available during the workshop. All materials can also be downloaded from the workshop web site after the workshop. Selected papers from the workshop proceedings will be published in the ISPRS Journal.  Target AudienceThe workshop will be useful for students,academicians,researchers,technologists and planners involved in themes mention above.RegistrationThe participants are required to complete the registration form and submit to the workshop secretariat along with the payment. The participants will be responsible for their own expenses. The following registration fees are applicable to the participants of the workshop.
